Eric Jensen has been writing plays for over 20 years, and has written plays that have been performed in California, Washington, Idaho, Texas, Georgia, and Wyoming. Locally Eric has had plays performed at The Egyptian Theater in Park City, The Desert Star Playhouse in Murray, The Hale Center Theater in West Valley, and the Hale Center Theater in Orem and now Brigham City. Eric has also had many plays produced at several other high schools and colleges along the wasatch front. Eric's most recent play "Utahoma" is playing currently at the Off Broadway theater in Salt Lake City, and he is scheduled to produce yet another comedy at the Off Broadway called "The CTR Superstar" to be performed over the summer. Eric has a degree in theater education from the University of Utah, and recently completed his Master's Degree from the Universtiy of Phoenix. He is not only an avid writer, but a terrific actor as well. You can currently see him as Lyman Wight, in the LDS motion picture "Joseph: Prophet of the Restoration" at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. He has also been in several local and national commercials.
Eric has been married to Sandy Jensen for 17 years and they have a son Austinn who is 9 years old. Austinn is also a budding playwright as well. He, with his father Eric, has written a play called "The Western" which he will perform with his friends and school mates this summer.
